What is the BBS's future?

I just read Dave's latest update on www.legacycentral.org. He seems to be losing his enthusiasm. He even hit all around the naughty "s" word: sell...

He said he won't take that site down, or this one, at least not anytime soon.

I understand that our cars are all aging together, but are we losing our appreciation for them??

Look at me. As much as I've been through with my BC, I passed up a new car, bought a second Subie, and (against everyone's suggestions and wishes) I did it so I could keep my Legacy.

I just hope our generation of Subaru owners doesn't become extinct

I too have questions on the future of my car. At one time I wanted to do a drive train swap and eventually an engine swap, In ways I still want to, but I just don't know if it will happen. The car is old, and has its issues. I want to work on some of the issues with the motor, and hopefully I can fix them. My mileage is horrible, the wrx get's better mileage then I do.

this looks like a good place for a first post, so I'll go. I am just getting into the Subaru crowd, getting a black 91 turbo, and I really enjoy being a member of online car sites. (I've been on 3si.org for a year and a half) I gained most of my knowledge about my 3000GT from that site, and I'm looking to do the same with this site and my new car. So if it shuts down, I'll

I don't think you have to worry about that......the admin/mod roles aren't too taxing...

Thanks.

I read the first post and went "wha?", but then I saw the date and remembered that it was right before I sold my BF.

I still come here on a daily basis, usually, and read a lot more than I post. It's still really fun to see what everyone is doing with the cars and I'm proud that something I'm part of and support brings this sort of enthusiasm to others.

As of last February, I'd had Legacy Central going for nine years. Geez...

Change your time of day. I've seen 20 users online recently.

I have seen no appreciable drop in users, and quite the contrary. Posts per day also seem to be doing very well.
