The front page, version 4.

Post by DLC »

So I went through and ditched the fancypants code I was using and replaced it with some simpler CSS. I think it's a lot better, it should also load faster, and every page is at least 4Kb smaller.

Please let me know what you think:

For those of you who weren't familiar with what it looked like before...well, too bad :P (I'd still like to hear what you think)

You have to click on old news just to get to any of the articles and such. Is this by design, if so, I don't like it, or an oversite?

No, that's what you get for using IE. IE and CSS are not the best of friends.

Looks like i'm going to have to do more work :(

Yeah, I like it better. Loads a helluva lot faster.

Josh, you mean you couldn't look at the old magazine articles, write-ups and such? I found them just like they were in the Library, although I realize I'm using FireFox...

I haven't added anything to the site for a while, so all of that's been there. As for what Josh was talking about, it's an IE problem with how I had the page setup. I just made a few changes to get around it and it's all good in both browsers.
