What is the JDM version of our cars?

Post by PumpinIron »

I have a 93 Legacy Sedan Turbo and I was wondering what the JDM version of my car is called and if anyone has any pictures of it. I want to know what all is different on the JDM car aside from the engine (i.e. exterior stuff).

Also is there a good place to get JDM parts for our cars online? I'm very new to these cars so sorry for the newbie question. I couldn't seem to find the right forum on this site to post this in.

Well the JDM cars were still known as the Legacy in some countries and in aussi they are known as the Liberty. The performance model of the Legacy was Liberty was know as the RS and RS-RA.

They had awesome looking body skirts, fogs, glass headlights, electronic folding mirrors, sporty steering on some, insane power I read close to STi performance, auto climate like you set the temperature auto. Some european models also had very nice ALL leather interior including the door panels. Plenty more other stuff.

Check out this article.

I can find stuff from the first seller (no BC stuff though), but I can't find something from jdmhot. I've searched before.

I'm an Ebay noob, so maybe it's just me

I'll have to check it out then. All I really want is the JDM trunk piece, the JDM tail lights, and the foglights. That's really all I need =P

Only 2 more years until the '90 can be imported down here...

05 Outback 2.5XT 5spd -- Now the wife can have her SUV and get in on the turbo Legacy goodness at the same time.
