Welcome to the Legacy Central BBS

Post by DLC »

This is something i've wanted to do for a very long time, but haven't had the resources to do it till now.

Some of you are familiar with the BC-BF LegacyWorks group, which i moderate as "legacycentral". This BBS is meant to replace the clunky interface of Yahoo Groups with the much more streamlined and threaded approach of a web forum.

Many of you also know that i moderate the Legacy forum on the i-club. This is not meant at all to replace that, but to augment it and narrow the material specifically towards the first generation Legacies around the world.

Please use this board to inform yourselves and others about our cars.

Dave, thank you very much, I know for a fact that I will post more in this format. I am sure we are all going to enjoy this for years to come!

I agree, this site kicks ass! I'm just hoping everyone will be happy with the new format. It certainly makes searching old, archived material easier to find. Should be much better.

Gimmie a Go!

Post by rsboss »

Im currently wanting to post photos of my Subaru Liberty (otherwise known as Legacy) on this site. Im in the process of undergoing a total ground up rebuild of the car and I feel that some people may benefit from seeing some photos and hearing about what I have done.

My car is currently viewable on cardomain.com, however your site seems more appropriate as it is dedicated to Subaru Liberty's (er Legacy's).

Can someone please tell me how I can do this?

Thanks

Unfortunately, the site really doesn't allow attaching of photos, so they have to be hosted some place else, and then linked to them.

Either I or Dave should be able to help you with hosting the photos....especially since you're doing a complete rebuild on the thing.

Let us know, & welcome to the board.

I can easily put together a page for you on legacycentral, as i have for many others. I can make it as simple or complex as it needs to be.

Simply email me some photos and text and i'll put it together.

Hi, everyone! I just joined this club and let me say I'm proud to be part of such a loyal following of a car that I knew had potential but I didn't think anyone else knew it. I have a BC `91 L 4WD, which aren't too common, at least in FL. I can't wait to start becoming an active member!

Noah (suberboy) is a local friend who is putting a older EJ20 from a JDM Legacy in his 93 Wagon. It's a nice closed-deck one that's he's going over, before tossing the 1.8 out. He also owned a Legacy in the past, a BD Wagon if i'm not mistaken.

Al knows so much that we can't kick him out :D

Milehi and eastbay,

Thanks,
Noah
