n/a does not have a MAP.

It has a MAF and a barametric pressure sensor in the ECU.

I spent a long time playing with the sensors on my desk. I can also recall ECU and MAF part numbers from memory.

In looking over this thread I notice that I never posted a link to my part number list on the web:

Nice!

On question. You only have a listing for one turbo legacy headgasket. I thought the gaskets were side-dependent? Meaning that there's a different gasket for the right and left heads because of some extra oil and water lines running through the passenger side head for the turbo.

I could be wrong, tho.

I don't think the actual mating surfaces are different; it's just that the coolant and oil take a different path through the head. I'm not positive, and I don't recall the source of that part number, so you may be right... maybe someone who's actually removed the heads can chime in.

Didn't see these listed, and since I've got the bags in front of me....

Valve cover gaskets - 13294AA012
Valve cover bolt washers - 13271AA051 (3 per side)
Oil filler tube o-ring - 806923060 (its a 23.7x3.5 o-ring if you're looking for an even cheaper replacement)

It was in a TSB, I think. I don't recall now. The cartridges that I have do pretty much match up with those part numbers.

[edit] Here you go: http://www.graphics.cornell.edu/~v/pics ... 195-01.png

It's got part numbers for some earlier and later Subarus, too.[/edit]

If you look at that chart.....look where the X is. It's on the EPS or air suspension. That cartridge will diagnose air suspensions for all the 90-94 legacies. Not ecu or tcu information.

so there doesn't appear to be a "one" cartridge that will do it all apparently....that sort of sucks.

thanks for the png :)

No problem.

Yeah, it would seem that there is no ubercartridge.

For what it's worth, I believe the 1991 cartridge works on all 1990 models, so that narrows it down to three cartridges for ECU/TCU stuff, plus one for air suspension and one for the rare 90-91 climate control.

And there's also my scantool...

Does anyone know the number for the cam seal on the back of the cams (non-turbo).

Been on hold forever at subaruparts.com :(. Otherwise I will buy it from the local dealer and post up the part number!

Do you mean the o-ring between the camshaft and the little cover at the back of the head?

That's 806946030, a 46.5mm o-ring with a 2mm cross section.

This thread has a link to the engine parts catalog: http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=14485

You can easily find online dealers who have much better customer support than subaruparts.com.

Thats exactly the one - thanks so much!

I've downloaded the PDFs now - I only had the non-engine ones before.

Thanks again!
