a "how to" section

Post by SvxJim13 »

on other boards that i used some have a how to section that gives u tips on how to do certain jobs on the cars...im pretty sure this might be very helpful...u can always search days in the post or just go to the how to section to get answer fast and easy...just an idea to make this a happier friendlier place for all to use the great knowlege of all the subaru freaks we have here

I don't know. I think there are so many different topics, that it would get confusing. There are almost 1000 threads in one of the boards I attend's "how to" section.

Leave it segmented in the super-categories, and it'll be fine. Interesting threads don't extend beyond the first 2 or 3 pages anyways.

I think it's a good idea. It's just something that will require quite a bit of work. We were trying to par down the excess crap in the archives....but it's such a tedious and boring job.....it's not getting done too quickly.

i think the library needs to be expanded on in the legacycentral.org site. a thorough picture-filled process for certain tasks.

I'm not doing much to my car, and the lack of how-to's reflects that. I didn't put up a guide to installing the Cobb brakepads because, well, that's just one step up from removing a wheel, which is easy.

If people would like to document a process, with pictures, i'd gladly add their content, with credit, to the library.
