Just a Compliment to everyone here.

Post by georryan »

Hey I just wanted to say that everyone here desereves a big slap on the back (the good kind).

Everyone here has been real helpful to everyone else (finds parts, gives advice, hooks each other up,..). It really doesn't matter who you are or were you're from; everyone here is gracious, and the atmosphere is a very positive one. Those kind of places are rare, and I just wanted to say a big thanks to everyone for making this place welcome to everyone else.

I had a boss that made it a point to compliment his workers, and i was surprised at what a difference it made. I just thought I'd "pay it forward" sorta-speak.

That's how we all are around here

I am a member of 5 Subaru forums  , and guess what? I have been a member of this one the longest, visit this one first when I get online, and have posted about 10 times as much on this one as any other one...

Why? For the same reasons you mentioned... :D

I can't ever even remember my user id on Nasioc or I-club. This is the REAL Subaru enthusiast forum in my opinion. You have to respect the roots of Subaru to be a real Suby fanatic. I read almost every post and have learned so much courtesy of everybody here. I only look at the for sale stuff everywhere else because it always seems like people are trying to "one up" each other with knowledge other places. So another pat to everybody here.

I like that we can argue without calling each other names. I enjoy a good disagreement, especially when I learn something new.

I`m also a huge fan of this site and have learned more here than anywhere else :D I also feel comfortable posting info I`ve either learned the hard way or the easy way from people much sharper than I. The only other site I really look at is the old one that preceded this one. Same good people and same reasonable responses. Does it get any better than this???----Rod
