I have a temporary fix....
When you put your curser over the "aim" or "icq" button you'll see in the bottom of your browser, in the status bar, the link to were you will go. In that link is their number or name of their messenger account. You can also click on the button, and as in my case with the aol messenger, it will take you to a broken page, but in the url is the username of the person.
