How-To Forum section... so people looking for stricktly how to information dont have to just search the whole forum.. they can revert to one section making searches much faster..

good idea... i think that we should definitly do this but we need to keep it strictly how toos and have the admins choose what threads and such are "how-too" worthy that way we make sure a bunch of extra junk doesnt get thrown in there to keep it nice and organized
93 White Legacy Turbo Wagon: For Sale-ish
93 White Turbo Sedan: soon with a little more umf
91, funky brown purple gray color, legacy L Wagon: the "its so cheap i cant not pass it up" purchase to get me around when the others are down

instead of posting the whole thread, why dont they cut it up so theres no yip yap conversations and only the info you need to know
if there are changes that need to be made, you refer to a mod or admin to add it to the original post, no posting opinions or questions that may confuse or mislead the reader, the hot-too thread should only be the tride and true method that seems to work the best, not something thats just been thought up and never tested

good to see you guys are for the idea.. thanks so much i hope to contribute to this forum ALOT... I use to be with a league of obscure owners of Ford Escorts... we had alot of DIY type mods because of the market was low... it helped allot of people who where new to the forums learn quickly how to start new mods and modify their cars in ways most had never thought...
WE HAVE ALOT OF CREATIVE PEOPLE ON THIS FORUM, but im not sure everyone is up to speed on everything yet. this will only help the newbie and others gather more information on how to get everything going...
I would love to manuals and such in this section as well. I work for kinkos and have access to scanning WHOLE books and such into PDF in a matter of seconds for free.. im willing to take donation manuals and such for cas.. including owners manuals for people who are not fotrunate enought to get one with thier car and making copys for download in the future.
I WILL DO ALL I CAN TO HELP MAKE LEGACY CENTRAL MY NEW HOME AND SUPPORT THE CAUSE TO MAKE LEGACY CENTRAL THE BEST I CAN.
Thank you.

It would be cool to start regional sections too.. for meets and gatherings in areas much more easy to find and setup..
Living in cali (sacramento..) im always looking to find other legacy owners here..

I think a how-to is a good idea. For it to be beneficial someone needs to compile steps, and pictures (would be nice to have, but may not always be available).
It would probably fit best as seperate forum with just those threads, and would not allow people to post. I'll talk with Dave when he gets back from out of town.
As for the regional forums. There's not enough 1st gen legacy people to create regional forums IMO.
