I tried replying to an existing thread and got the following error

General Error

Couldn't get mail server response codes

I saw this a couple more times and my best guess is that the error comes from threads where someone has subscribed and requested email notification. Maybe the outgoing smtp server configuration is wrong and it cant send the mail?

The SMTP server was most likely on the fritz. It happens every once in a while but doesn't normally linger.
