Why cant I use a 48 word signature?

So I went to update my signature and it wont let me have what I want... It says its too long.

This is what I wanted:

Spencer's Signature wrote:White '93 Turbo Legacy - Rolled off a cliff
Silver '92 Legacy L FWD
White '92 Turbo Legacy - Perrin Divorced Downpipe, Cobb Cat-back, PIAA Fog Lights, '93 interior, 2007 WRX 17" rims, '03 WRX headunit, Alpine Type-R Speakers
Need To Install: Infinity Ref Series 4 chan Amp

But It said it was too long... not cool... Its only 48 words long... The limit is 255 words... and there are no blank spaces or anything...

Any idears? Could Josh or Dave fix it for me? Or tell me how to fix it?

The rules specify signatures not longer than 4 lines, and with no blank lines. These rules were instituted recently, after Nick set his signature.

Also, it's 255 characters too, not 255 words...

255 words would be more than most posts on the board, in your signature.

Instead of posting actual specs of parts, I link to my page and just list brand names, to give people ideas of what's going on.
