wtb: knock sensor that is known to be a good one.

Post by Bheinen74 »

Anybody have a good used knock sensor that is known to be good, out of a car that had no check engine codes for it.

If you have one and can take paypal as payment, let me know.

oh, it is for a 94 turbo ej22t, all the 90-94 knock snesors should be the same though. I got the last one out of my junkyard and it is bad too.

You'll want one with a white connector. If the connector is gray, it's the old design of sensor which is susceptible to internal cracking.

I'm going home tomorrow and will check the one on my old engine. I know it was fine but I don't know if it white connector or not.

They're not that expensive new. Try subaruparts.com. Maybe they'll pick up the phone for you.
