FS: TD05 with 90 degree inlet and early slant intercooler

Post by Matt Monson »

I picked up a complete '96 swap this week. I don't need this turbo and intercooler, so I am selling it. It's got 65k mi on it and no shaft play. I will include ALL of the plumbing between the turbo and the intercooler, including the recirv vavle, as well as the two brackets (one bolts to the tranny and the other to the engine bellhousing) that hold the intercooler in place. I have it advertised elsewhere for $600. Special Leggy Central price for the old skoolers of $550.

The engine is also for sale, with a wiring harness, but without the ECU . PM me if you are looking for a 260hp EJ20G low mileage longblock and we can discuss. Asking price is $1000, without the above parts, $1400 with. I don't want to ship it, but willconsider it...

Any chance you could post a couple photos of the i/c brackets? I'd like to fab up something similar when I install my slant i/c.

Good luck on the sale, sounds like a whole mess of fun for someone to get into.

Yes,
It's from the '96 WRX sedan. It will bolt right up to the stock up/downpipes and it is the small early 94-96 slanty intercooler...

Any chance you want to sell just the IC Matt? If so how much?

BMX,
I have the part number here with me at work. It is: 14412AA092 C9502-C9608
I will have to check the rest of the numbers on the housing to get you the rest of the information.

I do have a set of 440cc greytops available, along with Ej22e rails to install them into. $120 for the "kit"...

Rad Rex,
I will sell the IC seperately for $200, including all the plumbing and brackets...

Too Much,
back at you...

OK,
I want to add some clarity since I am getting a handful of PM's about stuff. If someone doesn't want the whole "kit" pricing is as follows:

Turbo only: $425
Intercooler only: $200 and for this price, you get the plubming from the turbo to the intercooler, BOV and mounting brackets. I will not sell the intercooler only.
Injectors and Fuel Rails for putting on an Ej22T: $120

And lastly, if you wanted the turbo, and the intercooler and the injectors with rails; the whole kit and caboodle is $650...

Hey this is cool. I'm just interested in the turbo since I already have an intercooler from an 06 WRX.

Does it come with all the necessary water lines, oil lines, banjo bolts and drain fittings?

I've heard some of that hardware is a be-atch to find and fabricate if you don't get with the turbo...Do I have that right?

Adam,
Yes, it has all of the coolant and oil lines with it, and they are included in the deal.

I'm calling dibs!

I would like the turbo - assuming it's the 90 deg inlet. (425?) and the intercoolers intake pipe - the one that connects the turbo outlet to the intercooler inlet (50?).

Shipping is to Blaine WA. Give me your paypal and I will send you money. I also need it by tuesday :) !

On another subject - can I put my EH25 phase1 heads on my ej20G block? One of my HLA heads is getting a bit suspect.

I'm pretty sure it's a 16g, but I am not really sure which one. The numbers on the turbo don't match up to the numbers posted above...
