I've been debating upgrading my 00 LGT to a WRX so I could get the speed and sound, and then I started paying attention to the Legacy SS and how I can have it alongside my LGT. In my opinion, it sounds meaner with an exhaust than the WRX does. Plus its financially smarter for me.

So, I'm looking to spend $2k or less on a 91-94 Legacy SS with a 5 speed in New England. If anyone has one or know where one is, please let me know.

well come to the board my fellow Bostonian! hope you can find an ss. Try craigslist. I have seen a few, but they are all autos. If you are really want an ss 5speed. You can buy an auto and swap in a wrx manuel transmission.

regular manual legacys are common. Legacy ss manual is not. At least not in the east coast. There are a bunch of 5 speed in west coast.

if you find a 5 speed non turbo, and you wish to turn it into a turbo look. i got a turbo bumper, hood and rear trunk w/spoiler.
