This is a good deal if you ask me because I spent $600 plus on my heads/turbo. It was a 16g though.

power package - now with intercooler
98RS heads - missing only two valve cover bolt gaskets
98RS intake manifold and wiring -
2004 STI 535cc side feeds
VF10 turbo
06 WRX intercooler with BPV
All very complete. In fact all parts are currently assembled on an EJ22 which is presently on an engine stand.
600+ shipping price bump! -
The best part is that all the hard work is done.
I've had these parts for many years now and I'd like to see them get used in a project. Heads have about 10,000 kms - original motor pulled out of an RS for an STI swap waaay back in 1998.

power package.
I just remembered something.
All the parts are now bolted on a NA EJ22.
You can run this 9:1 CR setup up to 12 PSI without worrying about the bottom end (redevil on nasioc is the EJ22 guru). This is like 280hp at the crank. I assembled the parts using all new o-rings and seals where necessary. You could buy everything, grab a PP6 piggyback and drop it in as-is. Then you could either sell or rebuild your EJ22T and swap heads after...
you only need to swap your oil pump and water pump over.

There are so many factors involved, being able to conclusively point the finger at the rings isn't going to happen.
The majority of people with similar setups run less than ideal configurations, like a lack of timing control, proper tuning, lack of fuel, etc, so proving rings were to blame is impossible.
