VF22 Turbo w/90 Degree Inlet-$450 OBO

New here, but on other Suby forums. Someone told me to post over here as the older style use the 90 degree type turbo, so this one might be appealing to someone around here.

Looking to get $450 or best offer on it. It is in excellent shape with no shaft play.

Sorry guys, this turbo is now at home on my wagon, and it's actually a vf23..... It's got Soooooo much mid and top end it's crazy :)

Awesome, full boost at 2700 rpm in 4th gear. The low and midrange is very strong, top end is good too. I. Like it better then the 39.

"Oh rear-ree?????" :mrgreen: I was gonna shoot for swapping my TD04 out in favor of the VF-39, but this may be a better option. I have a TD05-16g that is sitting on a shelf in my garage awaiting a rebuild, but I'm not sure I'm going to like how it compares to the low end power of the TD04 now. Decisions, decisions...

Slightly off topic, but I only run 11psi out of my VF8 and in the upper RPMs I notice that it tapers back down to about 9psi. Is this because the turbo is small? Do these larger turbo'es suffer from boost taper at all? I have a catless exhaust so that is certainly not causing the taper.
