No kidding, man, if I could justify a project I would be all over this. Maybe I can convince my wife she needs a turbo legacy....

I dunno, might be a frankenstein... Turbos didn't have chrome grills, I don't think? Need more pics.

It's a turbo with a N/A grill. Look at the interior.

Nice find, what a great color for these cars.

I don't understand why people can't post a coherent for sale post with more than a sentence worth of information.

I am going over to the east side to get this car today. Not sure about the head gasket oil issue though. Car has 123,000 mi. They say it runs, will need front brakes soon. Car has been to Seattle recently, so should make it back over to my house , we'll see.

I offered to come by and pick the car up this week, cash in hand, and they said it was already sold… but that if the buyer falls out they will let me know.

You must be the buyer, I also called a second time because they responded to my email.

first call they said the car had brake problems, which is like ten seconds to fix.
Second call they said the car is not in good running order and it has gasket issues and some kind of oil problem.

Let me know how it goes.

'94 SS has found a loving home

Post by kleinkid »

I bought this car today. Saved an ABP SS from an unknown future. It is not perfect, of course, has some issues. The odometer/speedo is broke, reads 126,xxx, so don't know how many miles it has. Numerous discrepancies, but fixable for sure. Brakes are not very good,
will overhaul, auxilary purge valve has broke nipple, charcol canister nipple broken, broke nipple on intake resonator. Have to trace and make sure all vacuum lines are properly hooked up. Needs new engine mounts. Will use Seafoam, change plugs and wires, drain and replace fluids. Clutch is on last legs. Appears the right rear wheel is bent, tires have tread though. Sunroof may leak, not really sure. No radio, and power antenna is missing. Interior is dirty, so will shampoo seats, and really clean all surfaces. Polish and wax, etc. Drove it home, 255 miles, made it fine. Thanks to Brandon, my co-pilot, for going to get it with me. Paid $950. So for the price, it'll be OK. Not going to do a whole lot of performance mods, just get it into a nice condition as a good example of of an Agean Blue Pearl Sport Sedan.
