WTB first gen factory radio

Post by mellow65 »

Im looking to pick up a stock first gen radio. yes the chunky oddly shaped thing I'm sure a lot of people just tossed in the trash years ago.

Mine is crapping out on the drivers side. Doesn't have to have to have the aux input but I need the 13 pin plug to be there on the back (not sure if that was on all of them or not)

I'm wanting one that works and works good, and as clean as possible.

If you're in Portland area all the better.

Thanks

I have both the tape deck and the cd unit. Haven't tested since they were replaced with a modern cd/mp3 unit. I can test them both and take pics next Monday.

I think I have as well. I'll check the PIN plug. You can have it for shipping cost if its a match.

Mellow, I'm fairly sure I've still got the following radios laying around in my garage.

I have the factory radio out of my '91 Turbo. This is the style radio that has 2 plugs on the back.

Yours for the cost of shipping (i'm in Seattle) or I can hand it off to someone.

Mine looks 99% like that picture... No Aux input thing, but somehow I don't think that is factory.

$10 sound fair? I'll make sure to wrap it up good.

Send me an email if you want it! subarutex AT gmail

Yeah that sounds fair. And actually that was a factory aux port in I believe the early yeared ones only. I have had a couple of them like this. I'll shoot you an email.
