Reno Rally!!

Post by JasonGrahn »

Hello!

So, you've just got done reading through your Grassroots Motorosports, and rather fancied the article by Paul Eklund on the Behind the Scenes stuff of ProRally. You want to get involved, but when and where?

Well, your soonest opportunity is just a little over a week away at the
Reno ClubRally, April 5th & 6th!! We are still in need of volunteers for
the event, including time control workers, road marshals, and spectator
marshals. If you are interested in helping out, please contact one of the
following stage captains:

Gloria Hale (Oregon): gloria.hale@oregonrally.com
John Nelson (Nevada): subiedude@hotmail.com
John Nispel (Washington): chiefofcontrols@juno.com
Matt Tabor (Oregon): matt.tabor@oregonrally.com

Thanks, and I hope to see you guys and gals in Reno!!

I have a Solo 2 event, and with the new Ground Control setup in the FB...

Sounds like fun!

I'm really bummed, as I have no cash to go to Reno for the weekend. It's soooo damn close too! Hopefull there'll be more clubrallying in Northern California/Nevada in the near future that I can participate in, even as a worker. :(

All you need to do is get there, the rest of the weekend falls into place! You should send an email to John Nelson to at least get a feeler for the race!

I just don't think I can hack the gas money. I'll have to think about it some more. Maybe if I can find a place to crash as well.

To say the least, that rally is brutal!

It's the safari/cyprus rally of the USA.... i'm still a bit battered from the weekend.

here's some of the recap from SpecialStage.com
