Radiator hose

Post by John D »

I’m trying to get rid of a small leak I’ve had in my cooling system for about a year now. I can’t seem to find the problem so I plan on just replacing every hose that flows coolant. Looking through the pdf part sheet all I can find are the upper and lower radiator hoses. Does anyone know the other part #’s for the rest of the hoses or does anyone know of a kit I can just buy?
Thanks!

Have you checked your radiator drain cock? I've got a
slow leak from there on my radiator. Probably teflon
tape on the threads would do the trick. Something to
look at.

Can you give me more info on where that drain is located?

The drain is located, facing the engine, on the lower
left corner. The head is shaped similar to a
butterfly. It'll be black and about the size of a
quarter in diameter; it can usually be turned by hand
when the radiator has cooled. If not, pliers can
usually persuade it. You'll reach from up above or
from underneath the vehicle.
