That speedo error may not be linear or even proportional

Error could be 2.5 mph at 30 or 4 mph or ...

If you can find the box again check it at 30, 60, 90, 120, etc. mph

Other way to test is get a hand held GPS.

My speedo is off about 5mph from 30-40 mph up. It may be off slightly
more above 100. But I was doin 90-100 and it was still 5 mph off.
