Has anyone done a OBDII conversion on EJ22T?

Headlights to tailights and everything in between.

Has anyone done a OBDII conversion on EJ22T?

Post by sebaru »

I just picked up two '91 Legacy Turbos for $500 a piece. I also picked up a '95 Impreza L for $600. I plan on Rallycrossing the good lagacy at the National RallyX Championships in Nebaska this October in staock class.

So I want to use the wrecked legacy as a drivetrain donor for my Impreza L . I want to convert it OBD II however. Has anyone done a OBDII conversion on EJ22T successfully?

Why would you want to? :?

As far as doing the conversion, I am pretty sure you would just need to pin the harness for the proper ECU and add in the extra crap that comes with it.

Um, 1995 Imprezas were the last of the OBD-I's. The '95 Legacy is OBD-II, but the Impreza is not...

I also believe that the SVX is OBD-I in 1995.

gene4ace, thanks for the useful reply. I thought I was wasting my time on this forum. I'll look into that.

Thanks again gene4ace. You got any pics of your engine setup?

Actually, most of the posts were relevant and constructive in tone (except for mine).

Are you wasting your time with this forum? I'd say vice versa. The information you request has been kicked around before on this forum and much more on nasioc's "conversion" area. So, you are asking the forum to waste its time on you by re-typing things over again. People hate doing that, and usually say so, but they were being polite because you are new.

Just a couple examples:
http://bbs.legacycentral.org/viewtopic.php?t=26944
http://forums.nasioc.com/forums/showthr ... ?t=1253455

It'd be cool if the discussion continued because it's an interesting one. But, if you:
1) don't search
2) criticize people who bothered to respond
then no one will help.
