Get Edm glass headlights and put GE ultrabright bulbs.
Do not get HID's unless you plan to install proper projection headlights. The stock headlights scatter the beam and it actually makes vision worse.
Or you can get a set of driving (not fog) lights.
Kickin' it old-school.

European Domestic Market. They are glass headlights witha different beam pattern. They make it brighter, and have extra 194 bulbs in them to wire up for style pointers. you can find them on ebay sometimes, or here in the parts shed. I think there are some for sale. Post up a wanted ad.

Of course. Probably will always have it. I got one set of lights from Jerry and am in the process of getting ready to put them in now. You are right, the stock lights are just terrible. Depending on how dark the road is, you can easlily outdrive the light of the stock lights.

Step 1: Aim the headlights properly
Step 2: Clear the lenses. Meguiars Plastix is quick and effective
Step 3: Install good bulbs such as Sylvania Xtravisions or Narva Rangepowers. Sylvania Silverstars are crap.
Step 4: Upgrade the headlight wiring with relays and heavier gauge wiring.
Step 5: EDM glass lights seem to be better, but cost $texas
Step 6: Huge fuck-off aux driving lights.

Best is Hella 90mm conversion I did, but that's more money and pain than EDM.

+1 for Brighter Headlight Mod - fixed my issue with no light in low beam.

With this mod you MUST convert to the H4 plug - $14 at O'Reillys - this will give you excellent options for aftermarket high output bulbs.

hey do yall know the reason why my low beam would not be working on the driver side but it would work on the passenger side? could it be a relay. both lights work on high beam

I cannot believe this...

Read the data sheet and specifically look at MCSD and rated life. You'll be surprised at which bulb is the best

CB = Cool Blue , XV = Extra Vision, LL = Long Life, ST = Silver Star,

I've always wanted to find SVX headlight units and find a way to install them in my '93. How cool would that be? Oh yeah, those projectors would be awesome.

Yeah, but they're still plastic, and prone to turning yellow.
