Hey, I just installed my Hella Supertones, but I just put them in the stock location for now. I really wanna get them behind the grill, I think it looks sweet. Has anyone mounted them behind the grill on our legacies? I'd like to get a couple pics of mounting if possible. Did you have to cut the back of your grill out? Thanks!

Impreza must have a lot of room behind the grill. I mounted my stock horns behind my grill and I think they're hitting the grill and causing the horn to sound like shit. I think this wouldn't be a problem with supertones because they have those metal frames on the front of them.

Yea but they are WAY bigger than the stock horns. I don't really wanna cut the grill but it might be worth it

Florin, that car is BADASS. Can you take some pics if the mounting you did? Cut the grill?

Yeah I second pics without the grill because I didn't think hellas would fit behind the grill after how tight my clearance was with the stock horns.

Uhhh its not even close to hitting my grille. I'll try to get some pix in the next day or two. I just got back from the car show at PIR

Do you still have the AC Condenser installed? I'm guessing you don't, because I don't see how the Hellas would fit. I initially was going to install them there, but they wouldn't fit. They were WAY too big.

Josh, you totally nailed that one. I didn't think about that condenser being gone. Its been off for so long. haha. Who needs a/c in the greater Puget Sound.

Kimo, I didnt think you'd be interested. It was sick! The bonus part that is. There happened to be a supermoto race on the track behind the show. It got real hot after the show ended. We watched that for like 3 hours. SO BA! I'll post some pix and 2 vids in the picture/vid threads

Oh and also, there's gonna be the Global Rally show thing coming to Issaquah @ Dirt fish rally school in like 2 weeks. I'll post a link in the motorsports part.
