I noticed my ignition ignitor module is just unscrewed and flouting under my TMIC. Would this make it fault, and possibly harm anything? I had to replace my ignition coil pack because it was arching. Does it need to be grounded to the car?

Re: Ignition Ignitor Question?
The ignitor has it's own ground wire in the plug, so it should be fine. I believe the bracket and metal backing is just intended to help keep is cool.

Re: Ignition Ignitor Question?
James is correct. There is no actual need to have it bolted to the car. It just is a mounting place and to keep the igniter cool, as they do get a little warm.
