Post by imtb »

My alternator was getting noisy and I bought an O Rileys and installed and my battery light was on, on first start up. Returned O Rileys for bearings and rebuilt installed new brearings and nice and smooth.

Thanks for sharing the pictures!

You may just have a bearing going on the power steering and can replace the bearing and refresh the seals.

Here's my thread with pictures & info.

I am still having issues with the alternator. It is getting very hot after short drive. So not sure what is gong on with it.

I am going to upgrade to 2005-2009 legacy alternator.
