Maf causing robtune fuel cut at 6lbs?

Post by chanley2010 »

Whats up guys, having a hard accel loss or fuel cut at 6lbs of boost with the robtune, jecs maf, 550 injectors, etc
Changed the maf back to stock and car cut fuel at like 1 lbs of boost, ran the car without the maf on which allowed it to boost to 15 lbs but had a popping, backfiring sound coming from motor with accel loss.. anyone have an idea with this or possibly if there is a larger range maf voltage on other subarus?

So you didn't get a MAF code w/swapping MAFs? Car could run LEAN and blow up a piston>block>etc.

Not a good idea.

Try a different JECS/AUTECS - GREEN - label MAF only. They do fail.

No other MAFs are scaled to run w/the Robtune. Rob was looking into the Nissan MAFs - Z32, but I wouldn't hold your breath.

Unless you're running excessive PSI (or oversized turbo), it's not a MAF sizing issue.

Put the correct MAF on and check for Codes - after clearing the existing ones.
