No start issue traced to ECU---do you have a spare?

Post by WRXish »

Ok, I have a 2.5 running NA in a 91 wagon...the 92 ECU I had went up in smoke and I am having a devil of a time finding a replacement. The part number is a 22611 AA931F and it is no longer available through the dealer and I sent it off to have it tested and repaired to this place called module experts in Jacksonville FL and they said it was unrepairable. Does anyone have one of these laying around they dont want or need...or do you have a resource that I can use to get one? Any help at all would be greatly appreciated. The car has been out of service for nearly 8 months while I troubleshooted this problem. I need to get it running and out of my garage. Many thanks in advance for your help.

A 1990 N/A and turbo ej22t ecu are both Hitachi's, and won't work with a 1992 JECS-ecu'd car.

I might have some JECS ECU's, however am not sure if it would be that specific part number.

I'll try and remember to check tonight.
