Ej20k swap with the 550 robtune

Hey y’all, so I recently just got done with my 20k swap but I’m having some issues with it running. It has the robtune 550 in it with all the original wiring done by rob as it was the very first car to ever get one. Some of you might have seen this car in the past 8)

First off, I’m have codes for the map sensor, throttle sensor and coolant temp sensor.

When the key is in the ON position the fans are always running at high speed and the temp gauge in the cluster reaches the top like its over heating. It has all new timing components along with an OEM water pump and thermostat. It also has a brand new mishimoto radiator along with the stock fans.

Also, the only way to start the car is when I reverse my plug wires... so cylinders 1&3 are backwards and 2&4 are backwards.. if I try and plug them into their correct ports on the coil pack the car will not start but only pop and sputter.

The timing is dead nuts and at this point I’ve ran out of ideas and hoping some of y’all can chime in.

Are you running any ej20k electronics? Or is it an ej20k long block with ej20g electronics? or?

22t long block but I’m rewired to run a 20k ecu

The coolant temp sensor on the dash and the one for the ECU are completely different sensors. So if both are acting up I would suspect there is a wiring issue. What have you done to verify the wiring of the coolant temp sensors and other codes back to the ECU?

The weirdest thing I found when I did my 20k merge was that I couldn’t get it to show my proper coolant temps. It would just max out. I tried so many times to get it to work and had no luck. I ended up running an apexi power fc. So my hand controller would tell me my temps.

20k longblock with a 22t engine harness and a 20g ecu

Coil on plug swap it to save the head ache of your coil problem.. I couldn’t get the throttle body to work on the 22t harness

If you use the 22t throttle body along with the accessories it should work on any manifold
