I'll toss in a vote for Hallman. Cheap and good. They just put a couple new ones out too I think.

I was gonna order a Hallman, but found a good deal on a Joe P one for 30$ shipped. Hallman wanted 50 plus shipping, so the Joe P MBC is on its way. Thanks for the suggestions...

I have the Joe-P. Pretty much the same thing as Hallman except cheaper!

can't you build the same thing from Home Depot for like ten bucks with fittings and valves and such? I have a TurboXS MBC that I paid way too much for, but since I have it I'll be using it...

Anyone have mounting/install photos of their MBC? I haven't searched for the wastegate and turbo lines yet, a photo could only speed things up...

Yeah, I built an MBC with parts from the hardware store. A tee, a couple barb fittings, a couple ball bearings, a spring, and a fine-thread bolt and nut. It was a revision of my first one (a union, two barbs, a ball bearing, and a spring) that was way simpler and cheaper but spiked a little more and was harder to adjust.

Yes, more newb questions.

Are there any good links or threads in this forum that shows how/where to install said MBC.

I also have to learn how they are manual exactly...

This thread should give you some idea:

Basically, there's a nipple coming off the compressor outlet and there's a nipple on the wastegate actuator. You use an MBC to connect the two, and cap off all the stock parts.

I guess they call them manual because they're not electronic...
