What vehicle is it intended for, and what function does it serve on that vehicle?

yep supposed to work. you might have to switch it out every so often, i know mine started to die after awhile.

i wouldn't recommend running more than 12 pounds, and make sure you have this and an intercooler.

hummm , if you would not want to run more than 12 psi why do you need this ? my car hits fuel cut at 15psi ...

Your car probably hits fuel cut by the time you hit 15 PSI. The car 'initiates' its fuel cut countdown at 13 PSI, and if 13+ PSI is held for more than 3 seconds THEN you experience fuel cut.

So what's probably happening is you start boosting, you hit 13 PSI and the fuel cut countdown begins, three seconds go by and fuel cut occurs right when you see 15 PSI on your boost gauge.

Omg from the dead!

Your adding pressure, and presumably more fuel in your motor when taking this route so it really depends on how you drive.

isn't it letting meter'd air out tho? which would mix up afrs.
