Fuel is cutting out at 5000rpm?? Boost has increased alot??

Post by turbonator »

Shortly after racing a few cars  The boost controler maybe broke??

I noticed a huge gain in boost and louder turbo but now cuts the fuel at 5000rpm...

I installed 3" exhaust from turbo back and air filter about 25000km ago..

Its fun till the fuel cuts out :(

Thanks in advance

On rare occasions the ECU gets into weird states where it remembers something scary happening under certain circumstances and responds by cutting fuel if circumstances ever become similar to that situation. I remember Morgie, I think, having similar problems. Try resetting the ECU to see if it goes away.

What's boost set at? What boost did you hit at 5000rpm?

Oh, thought of another thing to check -- if you're actually getting more boost you may have blown off a vacuum line. Check that all the hoses are snugly attached and still flexible.

all fixed one of the vacum lines was disconected

no more fuel cut off, but lost in boost in lower rpm
