That spinning thing that makes all of the cool noises. OE and Aftermarket.

TD-04 turbo question

Post by 93LegacyTurbo »

I found a TD-04 turbo from a 220ps JDM WRX for sale. How much should I pay given it's in good condition with around 35-50K miles? Will this turbo fit and what else should I get?

Is this turbo in the US or will you be needing to ship it from overseas?

It's fine, but mine for sale is better :D (see part shed).

There are tons of options.

The TD04 will require minimal modifcation to fit.

You'll need to modify the intake to and from the turbo to accomodate the turbo. A guy on the nasioc boards did this to his turbo, but he used a wrx intercooler and a 90-degree silicone hose from the turbo to the intercooler.

Do a search on the legacy board in www.nasioc.com under the handle sxpi. I think the search item "wrx intercooler turbo legacy" should bring up the post.
