Calling HKS SSQ BOV owners

Post by Legwerx »

How many of you are running the SSQ blow off valve with a MAF on the stock ECU?

And do you get any backfiring? I heard that it is a special design I was wondering if it helps any with the backfiring...

I ran a knockoff HKS BOV...and it worked just fine...no problems to speak of...and it really didn't even run that rich when you let off throttle (I have a wideband...so I can watch such things :D )

I really hate the BOV sound though, so I went back to stock bypass...

My valve is for sale if you are interested...

LOL I love the sound. But I may get sick of it I don't know.

I actually got an HKS for $50 pretty much new, so I am not in the market...but thanks..

Anyone else running one of these??

Thanks

suposely if you take it apart and that that tri-circle piece out from the venting part then it'll sound like every other BOV.

This what's I plan to do.

my buddy has an ssq on his SR20 nissan and I love the fluttering sound it makes. :-D

I was thinking of getting one in place of my RFL, because this thing..while funny as shit, it gets obnoxious sometimes!
