Wastegate pressure on stock vf11 seems low

That spinning thing that makes all of the cool noises. OE and Aftermarket.

Wastegate pressure on stock vf11 seems low

I hooked up the stock turbo to run wastegate boost and am only showing 4.35 lbs. [had to convert mpa] and this seems low. I searched and didn't find the info I was looking for. What is the wastegate boost on the stock vf11? Thanks.

91 Black SS 5spd. Edm lights, wrx gauges in dash, 45 degree airbox, cryoed drilled and slotted brakes. Invidia divorced downpipe with custom stainless exhaust. To be installed, aluminum a-arms, manual belts, awic.

Are you intercooled?
If so that may explain the drop in pressure.

No, not intercooled. Maybe a weak spring?

You could test it with a boost hand pump tool to see when the wastegate is opening.

5 psi is what I thought wastegate was.
-'97 Outback - EJ25 block/pistons/HLA heads, EJ22T crank/rods/ECU, EJ20G intake manifold/fuel rails/440cc injectors, VF8 @ 11psi. . . . Fuel cut > me
