Turbosmart 50/50 bov.

Post by LookAsubie »

Is anyone running one of these? 100% recirc until under certain amount of boost and then it will release to atmosphere.

Sounds like it would work fine on our cars, and I've been thinking about getting one. But does anyone have any experience with them, any input?

Thanks.

LMk how that works out. I've wanted one for quite some time now, but wasn't sure of the results. After running a full BOV on my car it idled like crap, and didn't run so hot either.... but boy did it sound SICK hahaha
Does this fit on the flange on the wrx TMIC? Will it clear our throttle body cables?

Well it works pretty good, but it still idles like crap some of the time, I think its partially something else though because my car has done that even with the full recirc valve.

I bought the 25mm universal, kompact dual port. I have a hose coming off the flange on the tmic so it isn't mounted directly to it, its over near my intake. Not the prettiest set up at the moment but it works lol.

I expected it to be kinda quiet since its 50/50, but its really loud and sounds awesome. Ill post a video soon. :)

Haha Im pretty sure its louder than my friends TurboXS RFL on his 06 wrx.

I dont have any pics of it yet, because its kinda not how I would like it lol. I couldnt find the right sized tee fitting, so I to peice one together with metal peices that screw into each other. It works fine so far, just doesn't look real clean.

But if you must see pictures you can text me anytime and ill get one for ya :)

I thought I had your number from WCSS last year but I guess not.

hey Logan, where did you buy yours at and what did you pay? I'm seeing them online for MUCH over what I would ever spend on a BOV/BPV

Then like a few weeks later I was at PRE and they were selling them for $171.

That might be workable but it will gave to wait. Getting a river flyby by some ghetto untegra with a hackjob body kit on the freeway made me realize how bad I need to do my clutch. I wouldn't have let him pass
