Hi,
EDIT: Found this post showing the coolant flow diagram HERE.

And for reference here's the NON-turbo / NA EJ22e version:

The Turbo's water pump has an extra port connected to the coolant tank for the '92-'94. The '91 turbo water pump also has one that connects to the oil cooler.

I've read over on RS25.com (more info there than here for Impreza swaps) that people either tap into the throttle body/IAC coolant lines or the heater core lines.

I would suggest dumping the turbo coolant return into the heater core return line. Make sure you tap the correct line or the coolant won't flow correctly.

Tapping into the TB/IAC lines won't provide enough flow.

Thanks. I was wondering if the TB/IAC was sufficient. I'll also use the HC lines.

Scroll thru this POST on RS25.com. I 'think' the stock hoses have arrows pointing you in the right direction. Follow the hard lines on the engine to help, too.

The hose coming from the heater core that connects to a hard pipe that goes under the driver's side head and to the water pump is the return line.
