Yes it will. Its the combo I put in a 91 I sold a year or so ago.

If you happen to need a set of 2.0 head gaskets, I have some for sale in my post in the parts shed.

how did it turn out? did you have to use the 2.0 head gaskets?

It ran great. I used the 22t gasket. I should have used the 205 gasket because of the difference in cylinder size and the fire ring. But it ran fine.

Ended up selling the car, to my knowledge the guy still has it.

Yes, you really should match the head gasket to the cylinder bore. Also make sure the combustion chamber won't at any point be larger than the bore.

ok thanks. i think the 2.0 gaskets/bore will match the ej22t heads well

So the 2.o wrx gaskets are a perfect fit.....but.... block 2 little square hole tot and center of the combustion chambers and also two very small holes near the bottom outside edge. Anything to worry about?? They seem to be a better fit and line up much better than the aftermarket 22t head gaskets

they have the same fit as the aftermarket ej22t head gaskets, block the same holes, so maybe it isnt a problem?

didn't want to risk blocking off the 4 ports, one I believe is to help the exhaust valve area, got some super duper drill bits and drilled 8 holes

I think this will net an even higher compression ratio than my setup. I'm already just over 9. If you could massage and cc the combustion chambers possibly? I'm sure its been done
