broken stock charge pipe..

First, sorry if this is in the wrong section.

So i was soldering my broken knock sensor wire (snapped when i pulled the motor and trans not too long ago) and after that was done i went to put the charge pipe (from turbo to intake manifold) back on and noticed cracks around the base on the turbo side, im sure it leaks. Has anyone ever repaired this? I will take some pics after work tonight if needed.

Does anybody have a spare they might be willing to donate/sell to the cause? Headed to 59718.

Hi,
To clarify, you need the hose from turbo>>> throttle body, that includes the BPV port, correct?
I may have one extra.

That is correct i dont need the BPV as i can hear mine 'whoosh' when i let off the throttle quickly. I would be grateful if you could dig it up and if its not cracked anywhere (mine, as i mentioned, is cracked right at the turbo outlet) I would be happy to send you some money for it.

Thanks

Well i think its semi-permanently fixed, i used some self fusing silicone tape and wrapped it pretty good, it seals now and looks cooler cause its blue. It will work until i get a td04 and a TMIC set-up going.

Can someone link me to this tape if this is a good fix, or does anyone know where i can find a replacement part?
My charge pipe is broken in the same spot, split around where it clamps to the outlet of the turbo.
The throttle body side is fine and if i can get away with tape for now that would be great!

Here's an example of the tape he is talking about.

There are several brands and several colors. Supposedly they are rated for high temp.
