Hey guys,
i can't seem to find the correct gasket between the turbo and the inlet elbow
anyone know where i can find one? or the correct part number?
Here is the one that subaru found for me, it doesn't fit at all. It's the only part number listed at the dealership and customer support. In the parts explosion posted on here there is no part number listed.
Or what would be an acceptable replacement? I've been reading about copper rtv but rtv seems scary at those high temps and i wouldn't want it getting sucked in

That gasket should work just fine. Just punch the holes for the bolts out a little bit and trim the excess off.

^^ I was going to say that as well. Another option is copper gasket spray. That has worked pretty well for me on my exhaust flanges.

I also agree that the copper gasket spray works pretty damn well but, since you have that gasket, I'd just use it.

I can confirm that gaskets works. I remember thinking the same thing when I saw it.

How about 14415AA020 for the EA82t? Side by side it looks more like that one to me.

The one you pictured does indeed work. If you wanted to buy the ea82t one and let us know about fitment, that could be helpful for the forum

Sorry this took a minute but the gasket doesn't work. The problem isn't the two bolt holes being slightly off. (believe me i'd prefer to use the gasket i bought) the problem is the center hole is much too large. In the picture it is resting on very little material. The hole is very close to as big as the entire sealing surface. I used copper rtv and got it back together and running. Having a high CO issue now, probably means i don't have any intake leaks lol. Gonna change the o2 sensor and drive her a bit and i'll post updates.

Im glad you got it working. Despite the size discrepancy, I used that in my ss for 3-4 months before swapping to a td04 and top mount. I guess if I had planned on using it long term I would have made my own gasket that fit better. But I didnt, and I didnt have any ill effects in that short time.

Sorry I didn't follow up on this. The ea82t part number is the one you want. I bought two from Subaru since I have two ej22t's and an ea82t. I also have an ITM gasket kit for the ea that came with one. The OE and ITM gaskets are paper and nearly identical.
