"What are you best at?"

Post by J-MoNeY »

I know some people ask themselves this and have been asked that. I was thinking the other day, I'm really not "best" at one thing. I'm just good at a lot of different things.

It's a hard question to answer when somone asks you that when you're figuring out what kind of major you want in college, or what trade you want to pick up.

My questions is, have you been asked that before? What did you answer? Are some of you like me and don't have a one thing that you're best at? Are you really good at one thing over anything else?

That's somewhat of a bogus question, similarly to the "where do you see yourself in five years?"

Unless you're planning on getting your MD or something like that....who knows. I know I didn't want to be living in the gutter, but I didn't know exactly what I was going to be doing out of college.

Regarding your question. I can answer that for myself....it's a broad type answer....but I think it fits me very well. I'd say I troubleshoot/analyze/fix things very well. Just the thought process and what you have to do. It just clicks for me.

I'd suggest you list out all the things you're good at, and have interest in, and maybe others can provide feedback on what they think.

Ideas.
Midnight in a Perfect World on Amazon or order anywhere. The first book in a quartet chronicling the rise of a man from angry criminal to philanthropist. Midnight... is a distopic noirish novel featuring 'Duchess', a modified 1990 Subaru Legacy wagon.

I asked my best friend this about myself one day. He replied with "you give the most undying, rock-solid support you can ever wish for". I thought he was going to say "funny". But after he said that, I realized that it indeed is my best quality. From helping along a project to emotional support to intellectual ideas, I have always given things my best. I am good at leading a group or project (which I do enjoy), but when I'm the sidekick or peon I still give everything I've got to make things work out.

im good at breaking things that dont belong to me, and its always something meaning full to them or expensive and whatching TV and sleeping, and whatching tv while half asleep and break something

the other day i borrowed my friends TI34 graphing calculator because someone stole mine, during class i left to use the bathroom, i came back and all the programs on it had been erased
least to say my friend wasnt happy, he still jabs (not hard) me in the stomach with his calc sometimes

thats the most recent thing i can think of, but i remember breaking my sister coffee table not long ago as well, put my feet up on it and the whole thing just shatterd, luckly she said it gave her an ecuse to get a new on

You know Justin, I was thinking this just tonight before i signed on...I was starting to doubt myself and wonder if I'm really good at what i think I am or if I'm just a bullshitter. I believe the more you find something interesting, the better you will be at it. It's kind of a good question for when you are high or i mean intoxicated.

I'm good at Bullshitting. Yeah, really, I am. You gotta be when you go to a Christian college and are nowhere near conservative.

Oof! I went to Catholic school as a kid. I feel your pain. I figured it was all BS when a nun told an upset kid whose dog just died that animals don't go to heaven. That was the second grade. I wanted nothing to do with those retards after that. I couldn't imagine college.
