Harbor Freight Boost

I wonder how quickly it will break? I may just purchase one to take it apart. Maybe I'll run it parallel to my VDO unit just to test.

I don't see why it should. Maybe if you were boosting 50+. Give it a shot tho. But not in the head. :-D

I can tell you it's not Greddy or Apexi. Perhaps it could be a Mechanics Choice lol.

Alright, I'll go buy one at lunch. They've got others as well. Oil temp, oil pressure, and I think they're both electronic.

It comes apart under vacuum and the internals make their way into the intake manifold then into a cylinder or two, or get stuck in between the valve and seat.
Just a thought.

I'm pretty sure if it breaks that easily under vacuum. The engine won't have a problem destroying what ever pieces it sucks in. It could be like a rotary then "boost in, apex seals out" :-D Of course for that it would be "Vacuum in, boost gauge out". Damn that was corny. Anyways........
