I read the article on Jalopnik, but the current staff's writing has gone down hill I lost interest before getting to the video. Thanks for posting this - it's well worth the view.

His car is a bit rough by my standards, in most regards that's how I see my car. I built it with quality parts that can take what is thrown at it, and put a smile on my face every time I drive it. Won't ever win a concurs.

Ha-- this car is pretty ridiculous. Looks like its meant to be driven, and I can certainly get behind that.

I came pretty close to buying one of these last year

I had a stock '80 5-speed, carburated model back in the day. Not powerful by any means but it's one of those cars that's full of character. I was forced to retire her after she failed emissions. Mechanic I talked to said the apex seals were on their way out. :(

Makes me want to carry through on my crazy hair brained idea to put a subie motor in an FC w/the Toyota Rwd tranny :)

Pretty sweet car. Ditch the piece of lumber on the front and it would be cooler. I can appreciate no fucks given. I kind of want to see if I can make a dirt cheap car like this one day.

I watched it despite despising the walking, talking douche of a host. Car is kinda neat. For the same (or less) money he could've put a LS motor in it and had better, more reliable power. But thats so 2012 drift car. Makes me wonder what his life goals are, being 19 and living at home, delivering pizza.

I don't know what he expects to get for it. The car is awesome, but definitely has limited appeal.
