Holley Hydramat - The end of fuel pump starvation?

Post by kimokalihi » Thu Dec 11, 2014 7:31 pm

This is a pretty awesome new piece of technology that I can see a lot of people and maybe even manufacturers using in the near future. Geared more towards race cars but still cool.

I'm always running out of gas with still 1/2 gallon left it the tank this would keep me on my wife better side, or maybe I shouldn't push it so close and get gas.

This is cool, but it's no doubt gonna be EXPENSIVE for quite a long time. Certainly worth it for the motorsports crowd though.

What's ARCA? It shouldn't be expensive to make but I can see them inflating the price until a competitive product comes along.

I think it's the ARCA racing series, www.arcaracing.com

The guy makes mention about it in the article.
...We have the video below to prove this, and are waiting on Holley for the video that they put up in their booth with guys from ARCA telling how well it works.

Here's the video referring to the ARCA race application testing. Sounds like a great product.

Are they for sale already? How much do they cost and do they have a subaru kit?

No such thing as a Subaru kit for them. They release 5/1. I am looking to see what Radium Engineering releases here soon, they have been teasing a Subaru Hanger setup which would be outstanding for what my STi will be used for. So I'm looking into the HydraMat with the Radium Hanger Setup!

Ill be ordering a 16-102. If the Radium ends up being a double pump setup id end up going with two of the 16-103

They're spendy as I figured they would be. But worth it if you're racing.
