Getting ready for some change.

So upon some recent changes in my life, I'm now looking at moving out to the Phoenix area around March or so. I'll be driving the shitbox out with a uhaul trailer. I'm faithful that my almost 300k $600 Roo will make it, since she's pretty healthy to begin with, but some pre-adventure planning is necessary.

I made a quick list.

Hows it look?

Sounds about right but remember if you don't really need to do it. Should you? I didn't see valve cover gaskets? I understand you got it for really cheap, so you have room to spend but don't dig to deep. March will come up real quick and that's the last thing you need is to be rushing to get the job done and trying to get the rest of your life ready for the move.

Also if you are doing front seal, why not do a timing job. Hate to do all that work and then that leave you stuck.

I pulled the motor about 2 months ago and did new gaskets all around. Aside from the ones I listed haha. New timing kit was installed at the same time as well.

Oil pans are sealed with RTV, ultra black is what I use.

You should use ultra grey for almost anything that requires RTV sealant, per Subaru.
