West coast Legacycentral meet? Oct 23-24

Post by THAWA »

The 23-24th is approaching rapidly and noone's really talked about this for a while so if you're planning on going post so we can get a headcount. The plan so far is to meet either friday night or sat morning depends on when you leave :), find a place to sleep for the night if you come friday, then do shit on saturday, sleep again (see a trend? :D), do shit on sunday, and head home. What shit to do, doesn't matter to me, from a drive to an installfest, to playing pool, to bowling, to ping pong, to a hotdog contest, to drawing in a coloring book, it doesn't matter. If you have a suggestion please say it. Where to sleep? Campgrounds sound the cheapest, there's quite a few places depending on where the meet is, which brings up another question. Where's a good place? Is grants pass/medford/ashland too far for the wash people? Is Eugene too far for the cali people? Personally I'd rather not go that much farther than Eugene. What about our friends in utah, col, idaho, and montana, etc. I'd personally be willing to travel a bit more to move it more west, north, whatever, closer to you. Please reply with ideas, or just saying you want to go.

I'd want to go, especially once i get my engine swap done, but since that keeps getting put off, by the time those dates roll around, i'd be lucky if that were the weekend i did it! umm.. i'd be down to drive to medford or something.. doesn't take but 5 hours.. i've driven to seaside/portland, so its not half bad...
So if my car works by then, i'd say i'm in.

You'll be in California for the whole month of October???? Where at? We should meet up. :)

I don't know if I'll make this meet. Mainly cause I have a friend staying at my house that weekend. If he decides not to show up for some reason then I'll be there, definately.

I'm a tentative "yes" Hardy. :D

Eugene would work better for me, as I'll have to be back in the Seattle area by late Sunday afternoon for work. But don't let just me dictate where this shindig should be held. ;)

I'd like to get a ride with someone(s) maybe? I really can't justify the expense or miles, my car is unremarkable, and having company for long drives kicks the pants off going alone. So, who wants a passenger?

Well, we could just wait and plan one for springtime, then. I wouldn't mind a nice little weekender somewhere in western Oregon to kick it with you guys. :D

There isn't any way I'm driving up to OR, sorry. The only way I'd drive a distance like that is for a track day.

I'm up near Marysville. I was at the Mt Hammy caravan, with my white 01 2.5RS, remember me?

And I couldn't go to a meet at that time anyways, I'm getting ready to deploy again. Woooo.
