Tactompton Legacy Central BBQ 5/7/2006

Post by LaureltheQueen »

Tristan and I were trying to work out plans for this weekend and wanted to include Jake, but I work on his day off, so we figured we'd do a bbq next sunday late morning. I'll leave the park-scouting to Tristan or Jake, as I don't know of many places in Tacoma. If it's crappy outside, we'll have brunch instead. If it's bbq, everyone must bring $5 or a dish. I'll make a sign up sheet so we don't get a ton of one thing. PM me if you have any questions, I'd very much like your telephone numbers so I can get ahold of you if things change.

So, we'd pretty much bullshit, grill food, play frisbee, lawn bowling, croquet, whatever we have. Also, jnorion, if you want to do brake stuff on saturday, I'm sure we could find a place for you to crash saturday night if you'd like to come to the bbq.

Copy and paste the list into your post and add your name +what you'll be bringing(or $5)

1.Laurel- dessert or greek pasta salad, depending on what's needed.
2.Tristan-brats and spicy mustard, hotdogs and buns. Plates, wares, too
3.Jake- Chips and Horse Semen
4.Dscoobydoo
5.Project Legacy
6.
7.
8.
9.
10.

The day after Cinco??!?!I didn't cinc- about that, though, that's nutso. :-p

Who's gonna wake me up out my drunken stupor? :(

Tristan - Herbs and Spices
(And maybe something delish, we'll see.)

I'd like to apologize to all the Mexicans, for taking your holiday, Americanizing and bastardizing it, and making it a damn good excuse to break out the latin decorations and get drunk.)

(Oh, and for the split usage of 'cinco', too. Yeah, sorry about that. )

If Jake and I choose a spot in Tacoma, its gonna be gangster. If you like it a bit more docile, we can goto Bradley Lake Park in Puyallup/South Hill, which has clean bbqs, and ample room to play just about whatever we want. Any suggestions?

I'm going to have to bail on this one... I've got too much stuff going on down here over the weekend to make it up. I think I might end up just taking the car to Rallitek to get the brakes done, since it'll cost about the same after buying the pads and gas and food in Seattle.

Okay, we've got a spot, now:

Its inside Pt Defiance, along the Five Mile Drive. The start of the roadway is at the north end of Pearl St.
Past the backside of the zoo
Continue to the second viewpoint, there should be a sign saying Dalco view, and we're right around the corner. There's a good viewspot, picture opportunities, and a couple little grills.

dibs on chips!!!!! and i know a guy who knows a guy who can get horse semen

so... while we were cruising the 5mile drive today... we ran into a group of 5 or so subies on a cruise (3 bugeyes and 2 2.5rs's) and we invited them to the BBQ :D so there will be a little more people there, i just got to get ahold of them and tell them to bring some shit. the the 5mile drive has some awesome pic points also, so we could get some cool group pics in too!

one of the craigs is a bmw driver, but fortunately, hates bmw drivers(he's sane) and the other craig has undergone intense sensitivity training and is looking for a 2.2 block for his wrx

If Craig hates BMW drivers, why is he like the most textbook BMW driver I have ever met? (i.e. Arrogant, Doesn't really know what he is talking about)

He must hate himself
