Woodburn dragstrip this weekend June 17th

Post by douglas vincent »

I am heading down to the dragstrip this weekend in my quest for the low 13's (but I will be happy just to have to wear a helmet! :p )

Trying to get some other Subes to come on down!

There wasnt that much of a turn out last VP Import day, so there were plenty of runs, and the forecast is for overcast skies so hopefully the temp will be "just right"

GATES OPEN AT 8 AM (maybe 9?) Time trials start soon after. Actual bracket racing starts at 11-12(?). If you do not want to bracket race (which is fun, you should try it), you can get in the test and tune lane. Either way everyone gets the same amount of runs.

ADMISSION PRICES:

- Most events: Adults $10; Age 6-14 $5; 5 and younger free

-Racer $25 (I think), plus $10-15 for your signup if this is the first time you raced at woodburn this year

If all goes right, I will be running a 20-30 NO2 shot on launch and then 60-100 total shot in the next three gears!

I will be trying to get there by 8:30-9:00 am if not earlier. I will be having some serious tuning bugs to work out if I am actually going to be spraying more than 120 hp of nitrous!
