We might make a swing thru in the Wife's resurrected L Wagon. Maybe bring a snack tray or fruit tray...

Just watch for a 2 tone Blue L Wagon, dark blue front clip and Baby Blue main body :o :-D

Baptisms back on

Post by kleinkid »

A family with two kids to get baptized had to cancel because someone got sick. The church called my daughter ten minutes before rehersal started today and said come on over if you want back in for Sunday. Its at 9:45am Sunday, so I should be able to get to the park by 1:30 though. I'll tell them that I have an important meeting with some brothers to go to.

Hmm so this is a bit off topic, but I just got some crazy lifter tick a day ago. So I changed out my oil and drove it around for awhile and it went away. Then it came back tonight.

I'm guessing one of my lifters is messed up.

But until I can resolve that, is it still safe to drive my car (to the meet) with the problem?

Hmmm not sure. How long has it been acting up?

I read on here that if the lifters start talking when you start it just shut it off and restart it and it will go away.

I thought it was B.S. But it really does work!!!

Apparently I've got a lifter that bleeds down if it up on it's lobe overnight and chatters in the morning. I guess shutting off and restarting allows it to regain it's preload??

Hmmm no clue. I tried that but it didn't help. It was just a clogged lifter.
