Denver area mechanic needed for head gaskets

Post by Lawsonmh15 »

Hi all, I was referred here by a member over at the USMB and I'm in a bit of a pickle. I have a 99 Leg SUS with typical HG issues and I simply don't have it in me to pay $1500-$2300 as I'm supporting a "wife" and my daughter. I've run the gamut of trade-in or repair, but it's paid off and for what I could afford in a car payment, I'd likely be inheriting a new set of issues.

Is there anyone in the Denver area with the tools and know-how who would be willing to do this for $800-$1000 in cash?

I'm going to move this to the community projects forum. Hopefully someone with the know-how would be available to help you tackle this.

The big question you'll need to determine is if the heads need to be machined or not. Have you tried contacting CCR Engines out of Denver? They may be out of your price range, but do good work.
